At APC we offer a variety of common sense testing programs. We believe in real-time, real-condition style testing. All you need to do is tell us what you are expecting from your product and we will design and implement a specific test to determine whether or not it does. If it passes our tests we will certify your product as an independent testing service and certifier.

Our fees are based entirely on the project and must be determined on a case-by-case basis. For budgetary purposes we have found that, on average, our program costs are in the $500 to $3,000(US) range.

As an example of our real-condition testing concept, one of the testing programs we recently performed include a drop test for a sport safety helmet manufacturer in which a steel ball of a given weight was dropped through a guide tube from a distance of 25 feet onto the top of a specimen helmet. The testing criteria were discussed with the client and full design and test exercises were witnessed by the client with his approval. The test was repeated a specified number of times and a final report was issued stating the actual results.

Although we do perform many of the standard industry tests you may already be familiar with, we specialize in creating more meaningful tests that determine how a product will perform in normal everyday use and in somewhat abusive conditions. This helps make sure that your product not only meets standard testing requirements but show that you have gone beyond the basic testing needs and investigated effects of everyday life on your product.
